Sizing Guide
How big a table can your room actually fit?
The rule of thumb: you need 5 feet of clear space around all four sides of the table for comfortable cue play. For a standard 57-inch cue, less than that means you'll be cutting shots short or using a house cue.
Here are the minimum room dimensions for the three most common table sizes:
- 7-foot table (bar size, 39"×78" play area) — minimum room size 13'6" × 16'8"
- 8-foot table (home standard, 44"×88" play area) — minimum room size 13'11" × 17'6"
- 9-foot table (tournament, 50"×100" play area) — minimum room size 14'5" × 18'4"
